Sharkye11, Thank you. 2 foot square isn’t a lot of room for a vanity and finding one that small high enough will be a problem but I’m sure it is out there somewhere. Thanks so much for stopping by I appreciate it. Sorry I’m so late anwsering my comments. I have been working on hubs when I have been on to try to get some traffic back but I have now gave up. I can see nothing is going to help.
Out of view is a laundry alcove (far right), which was once quite messy looking, with exposed venting and hoses. That was all re-routed, re-drywalled and painted the same sage green as the rest of the bathroom. Steve made some new wood shelving, stained cherry, for above the washer/dryer, which we lined with wicker baskets for storage. It looked so nice, we removed the curtain rod that once hid the alcove.
Despite traditionally being one of the smaller rooms in a home, you have a myriad of choices when renovating or remodeling bathroom features. Your remodeling project may include all or some of these features, so remember to plan where you invest your money wisely. This is by no means an exhaustive list of all the bathroom features available, but a quick guide to help familiarize you with some common remodeling components.
If you are improving your home to increase its sale value, focus on the important portions first. Trying to renovate the whole home will become overly expensive and provide a diminishing return on investment. Items such as exterior siding, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and kitchen appliances, however, will be universally appealing as you try to sell the home.
