Retro Budget Bathroom Remodel (2)

We have showers! Well, kind of. They’re not functioning yet but they’re getting close. Let’s start with the Master bathroom shower. It looks HUGE but the actual usable/splashable space makes up about 2/3’s of the below green area.

If you have a flashy color on your bathroom walls , put in while tiles. They work well with bold, bright wall colors and accents. The tiles will stand out well with these colors, creating a feeling of brightness. It’s also easy to change should you decide to go for a different look in the future. White only works on a wall if you know how to use it – and since that is a difficult thing to do, we do not recommend you try it yourself. And be sure to choose the right intensity of color. Do not rely on small paint chips as the color will look different on the wall.

Do you get it? Do you see why I can’t stand this bathroom any longer, people?! That damn laundry closet right in the middle of the bathroom is chapping my ass. And the beautiful, tall ceilings bring wasted space that could be used more efficiently. Do the painting yourself. Painting is very time consuming, and most people can do this themselves. This can save you a great deal in labor charges, and can also be fulfilling. Many homeowners have come to expect the nightmare project that is so prevalent in the remodeling industry. We would like to change that, and so we’ve developed the Remodeling Customer’s Bill of Rights.

We can handle every detail with a 100% satisfaction guaranty. From cabinets to tile…from bathroom fixtures to shower doors… from plumbing to painting… and from basic to cutting-edge luxury, we’ve got you covered! Hi Shari-I’m so glad you finally had an opportunity to read my hub. It was interesting that we both wrote about small spaces and chose our bathrooms, haha. I’d love for you to add the link to yours…I’ll do the same. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the read. Take care. Dining at restaurants or eating at fast food establishments will fill the gap when not eating at home.

Place candles throughout your house. Candles can create a wonderful effect in your home. The effect will be heightened if the candle is scented with a good fragrance. You can place candles in bedrooms, bathrooms, and dining areas. Bathrooms especially benefit from the use of scented candles. Scented candles will give your house a homey feel. The first thing to think about is the purpose of your kitchen island. Kitchen islands can be used for additional counter space, for food preparation or used as a simple breakfast bar where you can sit on stools and have a quick meal.
